What to Pack in Your Pilates Bag
A well-packed bag makes every class feel easier. Whether you're heading to an early reformer session or squeezing in a lunchtime flow, here are the essentials we never leave home without.
1. Grip Socks (Plus a Spare Pair)
The most important item of all. Most studios require grip socks, and a spare pair means you're covered if you fancy a second class or forget to wash your favourites.
2. A Refillable Water Bottle
Staying hydrated helps you focus and recover. A reusable bottle is kinder to the planet and saves you buying water on the go.
3. A Small Towel
Perfect for wiping down after a tough set or laying over the mat during stretches.
4. Hair Ties and Clips
Keep hair secure and out of your face, especially during rolling and inversion exercises on the reformer.
5. A Light Layer
Studios can feel cool at the start and end of class. A lightweight top or hoodie keeps you comfortable while you warm up and cool down.
6. A Healthy Snack
A banana, a handful of nuts or a protein bar helps you refuel after class, particularly if you're heading straight to work.
7. A Pouch for Used Socks
A small wash bag keeps sweaty socks separate from everything else, ready to go straight in the laundry when you get home.
Ready, Set, Flow
With your bag packed and your favourite Grip & Flow socks on, all that's left to do is enjoy your class.
